With the planning and infrastructure completed, the University are progressing various education and commercial-led initiatives.
The team were selected as the University's JV partner and successfully procured a planning consent (requiring an Environmental Impact Assessment) for a 400,000 sq.ft scheme on 30 acres adjacent to the University.
The planning application included commercial space, a range of ancillary facilities, 200 residential units and 1,300 student bedrooms. It also included a major new junction onto the A133.
The infrastructure was fully designed and constructed in 2011/12, creating a fully serviced site, on which the University have developed a new Business School, student residences, an office village and innovation centre.
